Wii Fit Blogging: Day 1

Wiifit_2 I finally was able to get the Wii all set up at home along with the Fit board on Sunday. Let me tell you, when you have a four-month-old in the house there isn’t a lot of time to do too much. But Courtney and I both want to use the Wii Fit to try and get a little exercise time since we sure don’t have the luxury of getting to a gym these days.

On Sunday we both set up our Miis and had Wii Fit measure our BMIs and weight and Wii Fit Ages. I won’t share Courtney’s, but yours truly is pushing two bills and my BMI is around 28. Not good. But when they tested my balance I still came out with a Wii Fit age of 32. I have lots of work to do to get back to 185.

This morning I fed the baby around 5:45 a.m. and handed him off to Courtney. I fired up the Wii at around 6:10 a.m. and got to work. Both Courtney and I don’t like the fact that to do 20 minutes of the recommended exercises takes 30 minutes when you account for the loading time and other interstitial screens.
